Walk on the Ice Side: Glacier Hiking and Climbing in Iceland

Reykjavik is a fantastic city on its own merit, but it’s also a great base for day trips to explore the many natural wonders of Iceland.

I took several day trips while I was in Iceland through Viator, one of the most comprehensive tour booking sites I’ve worked with*. My first excursion? Glacier hiking and ice climbing on Sólheimajokull glacier. Want to hear about the experience? Check out my guest post here. As with most of Iceland, I found myself taking a scandalous number of pictures.
